Dont all be getting too negative about this. If anything its provided more proof of why the protests are correct and may well bring more support. Im not getting too worked up over a crocked winger. This is classic kenwright this. Gets everybody hanging on a name weve seen reported in the press and seem to take an age to sign. After 3 weeks of still not signing the player has become the next saviour of the club. Its wrong but hes done it all the time. Hes had signings sat next to him in the directors box that havent happened. Wouldnt put it past him delaying the signing until the day after hes sacked yet another manager. Its all about him. The supporters all know we need signings its the 24th today weve lost every game weve played and sacked the manager and whats been done about it. We nearly signed one player. Truth is we were never signing anyone early. Bill gets the buzz from having money to burn in his pocket after selling a first teamer then legging it round on deadline day. Utter ****

Are the fans just sitting back and accepting this? Where's the protests? It can't just be lets wave a few banners in a couple of weeks for Arsenal game.

…..I’m not alone in thinking the Benitez appointment was the catalyst for the current demise.

More specifically & a major subset to the Benitez appointment was the loss of Marcel Brands. Celebrated by many on here, I just wonder if him leaving has had a massive impact on the club.

Sure, l know there was criticism for the likes of Klaassen & letting the DoF role be railroaded by others but I had the feeling he was the one who held the Crazy House together. Popular with both Board factions, respected by players and working with Managers until Benitez forced him out. He had the diplomacy of a statesman to work around the conflict.

It was still a Crazy House but Brands exit might well be why it’s falling apart.

I said things could get worse.

What will happen now is fans thinking it can't possibly go downwards from here will stage full on demonstrations with the odd nutcase doing something that sullies the Everton name further in the media and we'll lose a bank or other important financial deal and leave the stadium hanging by a thread.

Everton that.

We're gone. Perfect storm. Death spiral.

These Things. Seem More. Profound Written. Like This.

Just when you think we've hit rock bottom another level of crap is discovered and in we dive!!!

Not defending these arrogant cretins on the board, keep in mind a lot things will be written and spoken about that are not necessarily true. The club is a mess and a lot of media/attention seekers will take advantage of that mate.
