Drive.Anyone have a drunken favourite? Whenever I’m drunk I always watch Harold & Kumans and the Hot Tub Time Machine series.
The mood and soundtrack of this film hit right when drinking.

I`ve looked at this and wasn`t sure ?
It sounds very good, but the reviews are very mixed ?
White Noise.
Good : The cinematography. Theres a vibrant colour and texture to every shot. The production and costume design. The brilliantly detailed sets and the clothing match in palette and paint the period beautifully. Adam Driver and Raffey Cassidy are magnetic.
Bad : Literally everthing else. Terrible script, bizarre dialogue overlapping with non-sensical situations. Greta Gerwig is bewildered, Andre 3000 underused and the musical number is probably a by-product of having such an expensive 1980’s supermarket than a creative decision.
Could have been amazing if it decided what it was. Theres some great horror / creeping dread going on but it pulls it all apart with a weak 3rd act, and ultimately wastes everyones time and about $100 million.
I’ve seen a few of them mate, rinse and repeat with strangeness although Eraserhead is his apex of all that is patience testing weird.I sat through the whole movie hoping that at some point it would switch up a gear.
Nope... Swerve.
I agree mate!
Absolutely amazing.
For those of you who haven't seen it, It's nothing like 'In Bruges', yet it's equally as good!
You haven't seen any of David Lynch's other movies have you?
Mulholland Drive was also messed up!
Finally saw the Banshees of Inisherin (realise it's been out for ages) - great film, like that even needs saying as everything about it is obvious quality. I didn't realise Colin Farrell was at that level tbh. State choir of Bulgaria on the sound track - tunes.
No spoilers, but the fingers - I don't think it really works. It's very creative and memorable and prob the film needed something along those lines, but it's too big and crazy a metaphor imho.
Unbroken. Angelina Jolie directs it. true story about an American bombardier ex olympian who ends up captured by the Japanese in WW2.
Jack O'Connell is a magnificent actor. Really enjoyed this.
Don't do it to yourself mate! I can confirm that the movie gets worse as it goes on!
How bad? I don't even remember how the story ends. ?
If you want a good evening out Medieval style, might I recommend this for your viewing old chap:

Not bad.. And Paul Giamatti takes an excellent part as the ruthless King John.
