I got laughed out of the building for suggesting Hasenhuttl last night so let me try again.

Would Thomas Frank be someone that all the fans could get behind? Think he’d be a really solid option. A lot better than some of the other names mentioned.

I like him but has just signed a 5 year contract extension so the chances would be slim.

I don't think i have ever been checking the bottom teams and hoping we don't drop in the relegation zone on the 4th January before. It is absolutely insane. He simply cannot be allowed to be in charge of our next league game.

Thomas Frank is a good manager and Hassenhuttl isn’t, so what point are you trying to make here? Also Frank is currently employed by a better team than us and Hassenhuttl is out of a job. Of course we’d all take Thomas Frank, but you may as well have suggested Guardiola.

At that time we didn’t know that and I don’t recall anybody complaining when he was signing Ajax’s captain, Keane, Pickford and co in that window.
In fact, for two summers in a row there was talk of Everton "winning the transfer window."

It's all we won since 1995, mind.

He would reject Everton for three reasons.

A. His team are a lot better than Everton.
B. He's not under any pressure at Brentford.
C. He's not bat sh!t crazy enough to touch this lunatic asylum.

And apparently we have spent over 500 millions in the last 6 years...supposedly more than Liverpool...most of the addons for our players were never paid as they're mostly underperforming...yes we have spent a lot, but nowhere near what the media keeps screaming about.
We’ve spent and gotten worse which is sole reason the media love it. Thank you Farhad!

Why would he leave Brentford for us

Better team at the moment but not a bigger club. Think of what he’d be thought of if he made Everton into something, would be idolised. Leading us into the new ground in a few years as well would be another draw.

Brentford are sort of a provincial club who are currently at their ceiling, Everton albeit are garbage at the moment, have a larger ceiling.
