Like everyone, I'm totally unhappy with the situation on pitch and off it but at this moment is a sacking best option? It would leave us at start of transfer window with no manager and a dire need of solid recruitment, we also have to pay severance unless the behind the scenes team have had an epiphany and got his contract nailed down based on results, therefore once again impacting FFP potentially, hire and fire is linked with failure, yes we are looking doomed at present but do we accelerate that with more of the same philosophy?

I really dont know what the answer is and it is heart-breaking from a football perspective to see this with our Club, the overall situation needs a full Board removal and a new business model and philosophy put in place but that isnt gonna happen either overnight or because Frank is removed.

Im not advocating either way just highlighting pitfalls as I'm just a clueless fan in all honesty but I cant see it ending well for us the fans, any time soon with current leadership at the top.

Its just very saddening to see such a demise.

3 wins in 18. It is like Mike Walker.

He completely changed the tactics and style from our 7 game unbeaten run and it really is baffling why

Pretty much a case of trying to run before we could walk. Its almost arrogance to me

Huge difference between what they can do...and what he wants them to do.

Last night he didn't have Onana and felt Davies/Gana could do the same job... completely forgetting the amount of ground Onana can cover is double what Davies can. And the outcome was similar to watching that Bournemouth cup game.

Just don't understand the change from a great result a few days ago...apart from he thinks we can be more adventurous at home. Which clearly isn't the case.

Do you think it’s a fallacy to focus on wages and abandon any empathy as a result?

The players on the pitch and those sat around the pitch are all equally human. Remuneration is irrelevant when it comes to mental health etc
Yes. When players are showing no motivation, are going through the motions and showing no urgency or intent.

If you were watching any other entertainment, you wouldn’t cheer someone who can’t be bothered, why should footballers be any different?

You think the Everton players have ‘no’ motivation?

Therwell should already have a list of players he'll provide the manager. Doesn't matter who the manager is.

I like Lampard as a man and his intentions are good. He's just not experienced enough for where we are.

As with the case with the Waiter...we need someone clear of an ego who's only goal is winning games no matter what. Not systems or style of play, moaning they don't have this or that player to implement the "plan"

I dont think he built that norwich side. He wasnt norwich manager that long. That side were more or less already there.
Well, he certainly got more out of what was there than his predecessor, Dave Stringer. They were 10th, 15th and 18th in the three seasons before he took over and took them to third. They did finish fourth in 1989, but Walker inherited only seven of the 24 players who comprised his end of season squad in 1993, so he did plenty of building, to be fair.

You think the Everton players have ‘no’ motivation?
Good of you you to pick one of the three examples, but do you?

Do you think McNeill was doing all he could last night to stamp his authority or presence on the game? Or Calvert-Lewin?

If things aren’t going well on the pitch it’s up to you to try and improve things as a player, never mind the tactics. It’s called professional pride.
