I wouldn’t. Morris at least offers physicality and I’d bank on him to get a late goal as a sub more than I would Arriola. That’s probably the decision it came down to.

Really wanted to see Arriola go, but only because he plays for FCD and I have the perverse dream of watching a USMNT XI full of FCD alumni some day. I think there is a real chance of that happening, but not in this squad (only 5 :/ ).

Great academy. I think Philly and the Red Bull cartel will do enough to stop that dream however.

That would be shocking if true. I have to assume it’s based on form/specialist situations rather than Steffen simply pouting because he was beaten out for #1
