We’re relatively solid with next to nothing going forward. Need to concentrate on beating the non top sides at goodison and grinding out some points on the road.

Let’s put this in perspective. Newcastle haven’t lost at home since April. However, that performance was seriously bad creativity wise. Not sure what the solution is as we do not appear to have the personnel to create anything consistently ?‍

Even a few seasons ago we had james, Bernard, digne, sigurdsson, richarlison…conceivably not replaced any of their goal scoring threat.

We're not getting hammered but don't look like scoring. Fullbacks a big problem, neither are any attacking threat. Also think it needs to be Gray or Gordon. Not both.

I’d start Garner on Saturday. Be tempted to start Maupay off the left instead of Gordon as well. I’m fact given how toothless we’ve been in the last 2 games I’d start Mills over Gray- it’s not like he could create any less and has shown he’s direct and knows where the goal is.
