It's a straw man argument.I asked my kopite mate this and he came back with well he is not actually a right back the way we play then sent me a 2 min video of klopp explaining his 'system for trent' it was just the ramblings of a tit.
It's actually bizarre. Confirmation of what all the analysis teams have done to expose weaknesses in Liverpools setup. And yet Liverpool fans an journalists proclaim it as a lesson from Klopp. It's a lesson in his failure to recognise his team isn't as good as it was, they aren't dominating territory on the pitch as well as before, so tactically they need to adjust. Or do something to reassert themselves an get the press working. That Klopp interview was a masterpiece of jibberish
Yeah I agree somethings definitely going on similar to lockdown like you say maybe they aren’t juicing because of the World Cup,let’s hope if they do pick up after the World Cup they can’t catch up to the top four, there woeful at the minute but you can never write that lot offThat’s the question they now look like they lack the effort for the system. Is it because they aren’t cheating because of the World Cup. They looked exactly the same during the lockdown season losing at Anfield and really struggling. then like magic they was back. I Wouldn’t be surprised if they are suddenly back after the World Cup. I no people like the joke but if you actually look at it then it honestly stinks of something going on.
And Southgate was getting stick for not selecting him for England. At the highest level you need a full back who can defend. Walker and James can, Arnold can’t.Remember when Harvey Elliott was going to be Xavi and Iniesta combined in the one squat body?

Only winnable game there is Leeds as they usually do well against themJust mentioned in the sack race...
Rangers (H), Arsenal (A), Rangers (A), City (H), West Ham (H), Forest (A), Ajax (A) and Leeds (H). These are their fixtures in October, which could be a tricky month.
I fully understood what Klopp what was try to say but the issue is that if a FB is going to play that high up the pitch then a CB or one of the midfielders needs to be able to cover for them. At the moment their CB and midfielders are all getting on and seem a bit injury prone and don't have the legs anymore to keep up and cover the distance. Yesterday they had TAA up against Trossard and there was only ever going to be one winner imo. Klopp needs to change the system or find an alternative. It's a straw man argument.
Let's be honest, he isn't suited as a right back because defensively he's pretty dire; offensively, he can pose a real threat, and it'd be silly to say otherwise.
But, if you're playing in the right back position and have the responsibility of defending like a right back does, you must be judged by those requirements.
Klopp either needs to drop him or accept that he and Alexander-Arnold are going to continue to get stick.
Southgate must of woke up this morning with a wry smile this morning, wouldn't be surprised if Mrs S got the Trossard treatment !!!And Southgate was getting stick for not selecting him for England. At the highest level you need a full back who can defend. Walker and James can, Arnold can’t.
I don't. They've built him up with this cult status, and now it's all unravelling before their eyes. The semi-reasonable fans will admit that he's been rubbish.
Most, however, will still praise him as amazing and misunderstood - our fault for not understanding, not his.
Don’t understand why they play him in that position as clearly he can’t defend?
