Being under 30 the best I've seen was Martinez first season, still don't understand how it all went so wrong so quick after that, geniunely thought we were back and on the upwards!

If he had of bought Van Dijk instead of Funes Mori and had some whit to replace Howard who played 3 seasons too long he might have still been manager.

Based on how much I liked them, not ability.

Coleman
Jags
Distin

Straq...man striker is hard. Hopefully this will be Kean shortly.

Possibly, on top of Mori bringing in gash like Atsu, McGeady, Alcaraz, Niasse, Lennon, Cleverly and Kone wouldn't have helped either. With a DOF at the time maybe things would be different. Recruitment was bad for sure but that first season was unbelievable.

Same as The La, these are based on players I had a fondness for, rather than me saying they are the best in each position! Even then, I would suggest that five of them would grace any Everton team anywhere through the ages!

Southall
psycho Pat
Ratcliffe
Richard Gough
Snodin
Davy Thomas
Ball
Reid
Kanchelskis
Yakubu
Latchford
