Everton have beaten Manchester United and Liverpool to the signing of a new goalkeeper - seven-year-old Harry Yates.
Young Harry will sign for the Premier League Toffees after being spotted playing for his school and local football sides.

The aspiring goalie from Heaton Mersey, who plays for his Didsbury Road Primary School as well as local side The Vipers, will meet with Everton manager David Moyes next week to sign a contract with the club.

His parents decided to stub offers from Man United and Liverpool in favour of Everton because they feel he will be given the best care at Goodison Park.

isnt he seven? good on him that hes interested and dedicated so early, if the 'daily hate' is to be believed its youths like this one that are out in hoodies slacking it at every opportunity.

I hope Chris Woods has very little input with this kid, every 'keeper he helps train turns to [Poor language removed], it's surely no coincidence.

And in other news, Everton have beaten Kashima Antlers, Central Coast Mariners, Liverpool, Arsenal, Man U, Shamrock Rovers and Newcalidonian Thistle to the signing of Kenjiwama Nakasita.

Kenji at 5 months is the youngest player ever signed and dribbled a little bit in exitement.

Unable to speak yet, his parents were understandably happy.

"He used to kick me in the womb" says Marisoto Nakasita, Kenji's mother "We had NFL scouts everywhere but Kenji decided before he was born it would be the round ball game"

Moyes was delighted at such a high profile capture. "Weve just signed Little Kenji and he will fit right in" says Moyes "Weve finished the new wing of the Academy, full of cots and colourful toys. It looks smashing."

If the Daily Mail reported it I'm surprised our scout wasn't branded a paedophile for paying such close attention to the lad.
