Summer transfer window 2023

Elsewhere, speculation continues regarding the future of Tom Davies.

The Everton Academy graduate, who joined the Toffees aged 11, is out of contract this summer but has been offered fresh terms to extend his stay at Goodison Park.

However, according to FootballTransfers.com, the midfielder is set for new talks with the Club amid interest from Premier League and Championship sides.

What a strange thing to read on an official club website.

I love Gueye but he's getting on and should be an option off the bench to see games out.

Philips on loan with an option to buy would be excellent business, same if we could try the same for Richy.

Good post spot on, Gueye over his 2 spells has been class for us overall, getting on now tho as you say, seems like a pipe dream but Phillips on loan competing with Gueye would be very healthy

If Dyche can get that amount of weight off the lad in under two months then he can pack in football and become the new Jenny Craig

Transfer log, day 3, a sense of deja-vu descends as we find ourselves short in several key positions, Kenwright is prepped for his bi-annual day of work on deadline day, Thelwell tries hiding in the bogs and hopes nobody notices him for another year. Our latest manager sleeps safe in the knowledge of a decent pay-off in January when Moshiri does his annual check of the table and looks to Bill for a solution - 'We need a manager that can coach Tom Davies into De Bruyne Farhad'.

I remember last summer there was talk about us having interest in Castellanos, an Argentinian striker playing in the MLS.
He went to Girona in La Liga this season and scored 13 goals in his first season.

We have to start looking for players away from the more recognised leagues because we simply cannot afford the better ones.
There is still value in the Championship but even there the players are not cheap and come with a level of risk.

Agree there's some good frees this summer mind you

Snippet of news as we wait for Bill & Tom lol.

Quote from Branthwaite in the dutch press that he now wants to play Premier League and get in the first team with us. Should not be too heard at the moment with Keane/Godfrey and Holgate as the choices at this moment lol
