Suppose it depends on how many bodies we get in for midfield in the summer.

Really nice knowing that if a lad goes out on loan it is for genuine development though with an aim to them making it into the first team as soon as they are ready.
Credit to Bobby, he has made it feel like he's opened the club up a bit for youngsters without really bringing any through somehow.

listen buster he aint our ex stop saying that unless David moyes kissed us passionately on the neck and told us it would all be okay then he's our former manager

Not in my eyes BUSTER!!! Many on here feel like I do about his last season and I stated way back I would never print his name on here again. That is my choice and you should respect that. I do not interfere with your choice so grow up.

I think it's a disgrace he hasn't been starting for us lately. If he had, we'd never have lost to Southampton or Palace.ROFLCOPTER

this is the same tourney that england won 4 years ago that catapulted barkley on the path of stardom is it not?

Im almost 100% certain this lad is not and never has been a kopite. He is a massive, massive Evertonian from what I have heard. I've followed him on twitter for quite a while and there is nothing to suggest he has ever been anything other than a huge Evertonian, much like Ross Barkley. Similarly with Barkley, you always hear rumours that they were boyhood reds and whatever but as I say, I'm pretty much certain he is a huge Blue.

As for his footballing ability, I went to both the youth cup games at Goodison this season and he definitely looks a player. Interestingly enough, he actually seems like the kind of player who has become a bit of a dying breed in recent modern football in the sense that he is very good all-round. Nowadays you often get midfielders who are more specialised; deep-lying playmakers whose strength is passing, holding players whose strength is tackling/positioning or attacking-midfielders whose strength is getting between the lines and threading balls through to strikers. Ryan Ledson on the other hand looks as though can do a bit of everything and seems to be pretty decent at all of those facets. I think he is definitely more of a CM than a CAM though. He seems like he could be well suited to being one of the midfield three in a 4-3-3. I hate to make the comparison but the best comparison I can think of in terms of his style of play is Jordan Henderson (this season only, not the past few seasons when he's been utter [Poor language removed]). He has a very good engine, is good at passing and his tackling is fairly decent as well. Very excited to see the youngsters coming through in the near future!

he was a red 100%, not that it matters like...but is now fully converted.
