Why are some people being so negative after a match that ended like this fuxake lighten up and rejoice! This season will be spot on as it progresses no worries there.

toffeejack and bicycle header you are entitled to your opinions but I wouldn't mind betting you would both have
different points of view if Jagielka hadn't scored that last minute equaliser.

My opinion is no matter the players picked it was a very poor effort from Everton but if you are happy with the
performance then fair enough, at least the three of us are more than happy with the result and we can give the red
supporters a good response.

Hibbert unfortunately is past it at this level now. He did OK today but you saw when browning came on how little we get in attack from Hibbert and in the system we play our full backs are a key source of attack.

They targeted him today with sterling and but for a poor miss by ballotelli/great save by Howard it would have paid off for them. Hope browning given a chance if coleman out for much longer.

Big blow losing Kev today by the way. Looked a bad one. We need Ross back now asap

Apart from that goal of the season it was a typical everton performance in a derby; over emotional, nervous and fearful at times. How many times have we questioned Howard's GK with freekicks and long range shots. He was at it again, his positioning was just too poor and didn't move quick enough. That ball wasn't even in the corner but a yard in the post and with sensible positioning could have been saved.
Hibbert's time is up, should only come on to ptotect coleman if we're 2-0 or 3-0 up with 10 min to go. Tyas Browning looks good. He's a good strong defender with decent pace it seems.

More and more injuries now woth Mirallas and no fluency in our play. Gonna be a long stop start season it seems.
It looks like some of the youngsters will get a run out early in the season
Hopefully Browning, Long and if he's up for it Ledson

Tell you what, for the dollar they have spent they look bloody crap don't they. We have just gone there and played rubbish, barely created a sniff and never looked like threatening them, never got out of 2nd gear and have come away with a point. If we get our act together I fully expect us to finish above them this season
They look terrible Mac, a very very poor outfit, Gerrard was their motm , says a lot!

Nobody is saying he is....just reinforcing that he rarely lets us down defensively when called upon despite the dogs abuse he gets. Still, it stops Ossie and McGeady getting the whipping boy treatment. Let's not forget how Naismith was treated not so long ago.
Hibbos been with us for an age - my bowel movements are faster than him now he was woeful to day and poorer at Swansea - we played that game with ten men! till Browning came on!

Equalizer was boss but lets not be blinded by it, We were shocking again today, Martinez really needs to sort it out fast, Playing a target man and your biggest goal threat on the wing is baffling
