I just love the lad. What a full back.

Martinez's first season was perfect for the team - not reliant on Baines but instead splitting the responsibility between him and Coleman. Down to the wingers he paired them with (Baines and Pienaar, Coleman and KM). Last season there was too much chopping and changing and no one played LW actually looked to get Baines involved.

We've got to start using him properly again, and a swanky, boss named playmaker on the left is the key imo.

Forget what Jose says, we've got the best left back in the league.

Even when Baines has a 'bad' Season, he's still far and away better than everybody else in that position in the Premier League.
