judge us at the end of the transfer window – not now

I’ve seen many many worse windows to be fair
Yes I have too but this time we’ve got rid of our best player who’s goals was crucial our then other main goal threat gets injured before a balls kicked which leaves us with no forward which is a specialist position just like the keeper is I believe you could probably play any other position and do ok apart from GK and ST we leave it late to bring a forward in then the difference in 4 hours means he misses 2 games on the back of the lack of creativity and piss poor season we had last season yes we’ve got improvements in but you can’t win a game unless you score goals so not the best window either seen as we haven’t had the best start to the season either.

5/10 for me

If we got another striker it would have been a 7 but we are so light and reliant on a injury prone DCL.

Maupy is decent but we needed another and assuming Garner gets done it’s been okay nothing more

Frank went along with the transfer strategy like a good little boy instead of clearly spelling out what a lack of an additional striker will likely mean for us. He barely voiced any concerns at all. A bit pathetic if you ask me.

All summer we were hearing how Broja was the number one target , did they even go in for him cos it doesn’t seem like , I hope maupay does the business wish we would have got someone else in though put a right dampener on it for me today was made up this morning aswell

We still have our number one striker to return from the bench … we have just bought a proven striker … we have other goal scorers in the squad …. Yes another would be great but it’s not the doom and gloom being touted

5/10:

Sured up the defence with some solid but alarmingly short term additions (Tarkwoski, Coady and Gueye)

Added really well to the midfield w/ two players who are young and full of potential (Onana and Garner)

Completely failed to address the glaring hole in our squad which is attacking quality. Lost our most influential player and replaced him with distinctly average PL fodder (McNeil and Maupay)

As usual our incredible scouting team managed to unearth talent from Burnley, Burnley, Wolverhampton, previous squad photos, Wolverhampton and as far as Brighton.

I fear another relegation scrap is inevitable!
