They were talking on a podcast I listen to about keepers in struggling teams, and about how it is easier to shine. They talked about how Marshall and Ruddy both looked brilliant last year because they were always under the cosh, but this year without the pressure they have gone back to looking fairly average. Not sure if there is that much truth in this but it has put me off Marshall a bit. I am happy to stick with Robles for the time being. Priority for me is definitely on the wings.

It's a fine line as usual, especially with keepers.

18 months ago De Gea was a bumbling fool, now he's the best shot stopper in the galaxy.

Don't.. If you watch a video of him he won't sign for us. Always happens.
Watching videos of players always remind me of "Mike Bassett- football manager".
Agent sends Mike a video when a center forward, scores a hat full of goals, agent tells Mike the player he has sent the video on costs very little.
Mike, thinks he has a bargain and signs him just in time for the next game, Mike sends him on as sub, tells him to get into the box for a corner,
the player rushes for the the ball and catches it.
Unfortunately the player who the video was on was the useless goalkeeper who let all the goals.
The lesson being do not trust agents and the videos the put out.
Of course Mike went onto become England manager, so there is still hope for us all.

Is this the one liverpool were trying to sign?
Yeah mate, the RS were willing to spunk 20m notes on him. Doesn't mean much though.
