As much as Moshiri is a Complete Bell-End and justs wants his money and an easy way of casting us with more misery.

This could of been sorted by the league, telling them to 'do one' ages ago with the filth about them, that is out there for the world to see.

Wasnt it first being reported that moshiri was looking to sell part of his stake in Everton to fund the new ground. Then 777 popped up. Its just that theres been no mention of moshiris shares changing hands to 777. I assumed the £200m 777 invested was buying them a percentage in the club? Could moshiri have done a deal with 777 coz they could borrow at a lower rate of interest than moshiri could after putin invaded ukraine.

Although it looks chaotic from the outside it's probably been in the club's interest to tag along with 777 picking up the bills as part of a condition to buy us. Of course that's fairly recent in the grand scheme of things, I guess when the conditions of the sale being approved were made public and then 777 missing the deadline to repay the MSP loan, people inside the club knew that they were unlikely to have the funds to do so.

If Moshiri broke the deal off I guess there would have been penalties from our side, therefore it had to run the full course to this point when it looks like no one is going to lend them anymore money and they've used up all the available cash from within, causing 777 to faill to meet the obligations of the sale. From an optics point of view it looks ridiculous we let it get this far, but had to be done.

We just have to hope the money is within the club/Moshiri to continue to pick up the tab/repay what we have to once the sale is finally off the table. If we can't then the truth swings back to we were riding this to the end out of desperation of being the only show in town and that wouldn't be good for any of us as administration might be just around the corner.

Good balanced perspective this mate.

Would you think that the money that 777 have thrown our way, will either be written off at some point as they look doomed overall or will this be part of our ongoing debt structure?

if its written off due to not meeting clauses then maybe Moshiri has played them well?

Someone somewhere will want their money back, I don't know from a legal standpoint we can shield ourselves away from that and say not our problem. Can't see it somehow, we aren't that lucky.

However I guess we didn't have to pay any interest on that 200m so it has been beneficial to us whatever. It's allowed the stadium to be on the verge of completion (in the next couple of months it will look done) so potential investors don't have to worry whether it will be finished or will costs rise further to get it built which they would have been liable for. Also we are a year forward to then being able to try and refinance the stadium debt with legitimate lenders who much prefer to see things fully functional before handing out the cash for the very same reasons.

You could therefore call it far better than the MSP and R&M loans where we've incurred large costs for using. Obviously this was by accident as I think everybody thought the deal would have gone through before Christmas, but we may have had a little bit of good fortune this time - as long as we actually have the funds to finish what we need to from here.

….bit of a conflict of interest, his daughter now regularly presenting the BBC news and Everton’s takeover getting some headlines. I wonder if she actually knows what’s really happening;

It's a shame the government didn't dig into the open secret of Moshiri being a front for Usmanov and just take the club off him like they did with Chelsea

For all the stick he's getting, he's clearly always been the "front".

It doesn't matter how good of an accountant you are, you don't become a Billionaire by being one.

Arsenal laughed Usmanov off for a reason, and that fella should be getting just as much stick as the next Moshiri.

When you get points deductions for financial irregularities and your owner is allegedly a top accountant you know you're up to your neck in it.

The Board consisted of Chairman Kenwright, CEO DBB and FD Grant Ingles. It was their job to police and manage the PSR. Moshiri just provided the money. They wasted and mismanaged it. Moshiri may have been gullible/naive in keeping Kenwright and allowing the absolute disgraceful decision in appointing DBB, but like it or not he changed the club for better or worse. There is no denying the absolute waste of money spent on players by managers who then couldn’t get a tune out of them while drawing us down the table.

But let’s try and remember where we were before Moshiri. GP looked and indeed was a tip with no sign of any improvement. There was not a cat in hells chance that we would ever have been playing in a magnificent stadium in an iconic position. Yes we can look at todays problems and just blame Moshiri, but world affairs played their part at just the wrong moment in time. Whatever happens now Moshiri will walk away with an awful lot less money than when he arrived. Bill did alright financially , DBB walked away with millions, no supporters have lost any money and we still get the Stadium we’ve been needing since the 80’s. Even with an unparalleled points deduction we end the season in a more relaxed place than we have for a while. Are we in a better place or a worse place ?……..
