When you’re talking big ‘proven’ players the issue is fitness really. So long as their pre-season training etc. is underway (presumably with a reputable club and not a 3rd division Lithuanian side) then nothing to worry about. EG Mata has the footballing intelligence to fit into our team no problem with 2 weeks with us so long as his fitness has been maintained. It’s why they are top players and not Raheem Sterlings.
