I think he was just injured - the paper never refused ink as the saying goes. If he signs longterm that would be a real show of intent by the club that we are aiming for Euro Football once more

Basically Drenthe was hugging the touchline like an out and out winger for parts of the Fulham game and apparently Moyles was livid that he wasn't tucking in...

...Pity he didn't tell Howard to get on his line for when Matty Taylor lobbed him from 60 yards.

Anyone know if anything is going to happen with Royston this transfer window? Can we sign him up?

We can offer him a pre-contract and he can provisionally accept it, but it's not legally binding, see the Gosling saga for example. We wouldn't formally own his registration until the end of his Madrid contract.

He is a liability, watch how often he gives the ball away. Our play is not attacking enough to give him the free dynamic play he wants.

He'd do well in a a 4-4-2.

Drenthe is a must signing.

He's still just a little anxious to prove himself, as he calms down his talent will start shining through. Real Madrid doesn't keep trash, especially not for 5 years. He has quality, a regular spot on the starting 11 for a period will help him settle down, show his skill.

Yup. Well pay more for someone with less or equal ability
