Such a shame. He's became one of my favourite Everton players in such a short time.

Hope he makes the world cup and scores against England.

Till we meet again Bry x

is it being a clean break a good thing? in terms of recovery

Not really they set it. For a severe break they may file the end of the bone

Or take part of another bone usually the pelvic I think

Then grind that up and place that between the bones that speeds up bone growth.

They may also pin the bones

This is specialist orthopaedics.

Just hope theyre looking after him

Its a 6 month out job.

Mcaleny recovered in 4 months, so if hes lucky bry might just make it back for the world cup

It takes around six to eight weeks for a minor fracture to heal, and you will probably need to use crutches or a wheelchair during this time, until it is possible to put weight on the leg again. The hospital will show you how to safely use any mobility equipment they provide.
More severe fractures can take between three and six months to fully heal. Some fractures can take even longer, especially open or comminuted fractures.

Depends if it was open/compounded/comminuted.

I'd go for 6 months

Impossible to tell how long he will be out for. Lots of variables which also include the individual. Remember Cisse for them lot against Blackburn? I can remember him coming back earlier than expected, and I've just looked it up: He broke his tibia and fibula and his expected recovery was 6-9 months with 18 months stated as a worst case scenario. He picked up the injury on Oct 30th, yet was back on the PITCH by 13th April. Let's hope Bryan makes such a swift recovery.

Conor Mcaleny on the bench today same type of injury 24th August nearly 5 months to the day hopefully for Bryans sake
he can recover as quickly And be back for the world cup 14th june. Think its a big ask though sadly.
