Besic for me but Gibson has never really let us down and was playing great until his injury. Looks like he will start tonight for ROI with McCarthy out so a chance for him to get some much needed game time

With Mirallas also coming back, I think Gibson is the best option. We can go back to using Kev as an outlet with Gibson's passing range getting him in behind. It gives us an extra dimension when trying to cut through with short passes isn't working.

But i'm sure there will be enough games for both to get plenty of playing time.

Right, taking it that Barry is out for the long term, who would you bring into partner McCarthy?

No brainer for me but seems mixed on here.

Id say we need to compliment McCarthys skills so id say Gibson. Id say Besic is a better player but his skill set seem similiar to McCarthy very energetic, i think we need an achoring role to keep shape and stability.

I'd go for Gibbo while Besic still learns his craft. Put Gibbo in the team and Besic will be playing within a fortnight anyway as Gibson faces another injury layoff.

Use both. Gibson's knees are made out of Lego so won't last a run of full games but give him a half and then stick Besic on
