Dyche absolutely loves him and I think its inevitable he'll be offered a 1 year deal.
It might take a 2 year contract to keep him out of the clutches of other clubs. Available on a free, a wealth of experience and willing to slot into whatever position his club needs him in. Could even see Arteta taking him to Arsenal as the final piece in the jigsaw to take them over the line next year as PL Champions after two close calls.

He's a mate from years ago but he surely knows he's toast now. If Patterson had been anything like adequate Young would have been benched all season.
