  • Ahhh I want to go so badly, but I have to run a booth for my college tomorrow during them game (lameeee). I'll definitely see you next time though!!
Hey! are you going to be in Boston this Sunday (the 29th) for the game? I'm heading back to Boston tomorrow and I think I want tryout watching the game at the pub, but I'm kind of nervous going by myself - any chance you want to go with me?

I'm trying to get to bed, honest. :p

I loved Berkeley - great school as I'm sure you know. I was an undergrad business student, so don't know how much that would help you. But let me know if you have questions.

I also think Michael has arrived and appreciate his workrate. He has a great career in front of him and I think could supplant LD as the face of US soccer after 2014. If he continues to play the way he's been playing (minus the friendly against Brazil) of course.

I remember the wee teenager + blond hair. *cringe* I even remember the abdication, it was bad. I choose to think of it as bygones to help me out. :p

Going to try and figure out how to keep posted on the Everton game on Wednesday at work. Sigh.

And mine got cut off too: the rest:
And yes, the LD situation is annoying. He is my favorite US player for his skill, eloquence, and his admittance of the fact that he was originally a jerk when he first came on the scene - he's mature and humble now. I just want him to succeed since he's our one star and he seems like a decent dude. Helps that he's adorable too.

I read LA Galaxy boards too (LD got me to watch MLS, and that's even more shocking since I'm a Northern Californian, I feel like I'm committing treason by supporting LA, especially as a Giants baseball fan), and it's amusing to me how much crap he gets. Uh, he's basically your entire passing system minus the occasional goal from Buddle. Expectations are so high on 1 player. I support MLS too - it's been a pleasant surprise, but you are 100% right.

Well, there's my rant too! If we can watch a game together that would indeed be fun! We should keep one another posted. :)

    Nice to "meet" you!

It is so bizarre that I can't see these messages anywhere unless they are new. This forum is so weird sometimes.

Wow - we are similar, I went to school in Boston too (except I suspect I am much older than you being that I went to school in Boston ages ago, I'm 34). I did my undergrad at Berkeley, and then grad school at Harvard. You? Are you a lady or a lad? :) Me = lady.

So as you probably sussed, I am from Berkeley. And "meeting" a fellow Evertonian sounds great! Sounds like you're going back to school soon though, bummer! I just got into the EPL as well as you can probably tell from my posts, you are not alone! I've watched US Soccer for years, finally took the plunge.
