He and Branthwaite had really good games yesterday - very pleasing to see the young players bossing it in our team. Keep it up and we should be nowhere near the bottom 3.
This is what really concerns me and hasn't really been properly talked about. All of our wingers best positions are on the left and you cannot play them all. It's like the return of the no10s.....
McNeill cannot play right, Danjuma has only played right a few times in his career and Harrison...
I'd be sounding out Lee Carsley - doing a great job but I would also give Dyche a 2 or 3 games (and no more) with a more potent attacking threat but the Arsenal game absolutely killed any enthusiasm for me.
Maybe a few players who actually will put in 100% against players of similar ability around us and therefore we stand a much better chance of getting results.
Defo the correct appointment and he needs our support. Hopefully he will make us much less of a pushover by clubs around us and go from there. The time for flashy play and mangers who play tippy tappy crap is over.
We played 3-4-3 because of a lack of a proper good DM - hence a third centre back. Onana and Gana and possibly Garner pushes the 4 at the back to the fore now. We have many options. COYB!
We've massively improved the midfield and competition - no argument.
We've massively improved the spine in terms of leadership - no argument.
We could likely concede 10 -15 less goals which means we win/draw more games.
Garner, Maupay, Onana and McNeill all add some qualities we didn't have...
