As said by someone else he did create two chances today where we had potential to score. But other than that he's awful. He was dropping deeper than our midfielders. Needs dropping immediately.

He's still got the creative spark but f me what is he doing with simple passes? He just kept giving the ball away needlessly in easy situations. We need him to lead by example here and just do the simple things right, he doesn't have to be a wizard conjuring things up right now. We really need to dig in and keep some clean sheets he's not helping with that with his poor possession. Not singling him out for the game as we were generally tripe but he's an experienced pro and needs to do better. The fact baningime has been our best player in the last two games speaks volumes of how badly our players are flopping.

He seems to think leadership means taking centre stage. Leading by example could be easily done by just doing the simple things right and let others do their job, stop trying to do it for them.

Because United knew when to get rid of him, like a sensible club would.

Defended him this season but was comical yesterday. Just standing waiting for the ball to get to him like his boots were made of concrete.

Frustratingly though, i still felt he was our best chance of a goal.

Never ever wanted him back but accepted it when it happened,
he will only be an impact player for me (last 30 mins)
Gylfi should start every game and Rooney should be sub.

“It was not difficult [Rooney leaving] because he deserved that it was not difficult. He deserves what he got and what he got was our desire for him to stay and our respect by letting it be completely clear that we would like him to stay."
