Leisure Suit Larry was amazing from what I remember, and completely unsuitable for me at the age I played it, which made it even better.

One title in that series was good, the rest absolute garbage.
Bizarrely, there was one adult game that I played a year or so back that wasn't utterly terrible - it was called Lula: The Sexy Empire, which was basically a porn empire management game from the ground up. Don't get me wrong, not a good game, but not an absolute disgrace either. It was playable and funny in a way.

I've managed to persuade her that I should have a collection of retro console. She can never think what to get me for birthdays and Christmas so this seemed a good idea.
I want to start with a Sega Saturn (I used to have one and have brill memories of it).
But I do have a worry, what if they've not aged well? Will I be gutted?
There was a boss football game on the Saturn. Anyone remember what it was called? It was viewed up the pitch, rather than horizontally.
Was it Sega Soccer? I loved it, anyway.
House of the Dead 2/3 was also ace on the Saturn.

Any PC whatsoever can do it mate?
Also, agree completely with RaleighBlue - there are some exceptions but generally the early 3D stuff plays horribly today. Syndicate being an example.
Sega Worldwide Soccer 98. It doesn't play well today mate.
I still have my Saturn for 4 games that I still love. Graphically they are dated but they are still great games.
Baku baku - animal eating block game
Saturn Bomberman
and the superb Athlete Kings and Winter Heat -- had so much fun on these 2!
Any game/console with a light gun does the trick for me.
First one of those I had was for my Dreamcast console. House of the Dead was excellent with it. That console was superb, ahead of its time and I was gutted that it flopped.Any game/console with a light gun does the trick for me.

Time Crisis! That was excellent! I remember how proud I was when I first finished it, I recall a never ending shoot out with the end boss before jumping on the helicopter. Happy days indeed!
Point Blank was the series of target practice games wasn't it? Duck shoots and balloons, that kind of thing?

SWOS on the surface of things looks an arcade title, and it is, except it also offers the purest form of simulated football you can buy.
