Travel/Ticket Advice for WBA on Saturday!

Hi all,

Looking for a bit of advice as planning a rare one man trip up to Goodison on Saturday (normally come up by car with a couple of mates but both are away this weekend!). Will be travelling up by train, into Liverpool Lime Street (never been there before so sorry if being thick!), wanting to know...

1) My return train is at 5.52pm is it feasible to get back to the station from the ground in time for this!?
2) I plan to arrive into Liverpool around 11.15am, would walking to the ground be best? Or would a taxi to the ground (or any pubs en route/nearby?b)) be a better option?

Cracking night to be a Toffee, any help/advice gladly taken!

Lime St station is only a couple of miles from Goodison. Taxi there and back won't cost much.
Plenty of pubs near the ground. Have a great day.

or walk ( 2 mins ) from Lime St to Central and catch a train to Kirkdale. Goodison's just over 10 mins walk from Kirkdale station
