I'm no physio but that does look worse than Martinez suggested doesn't it?

It was the injury he was the most ambiguous about timeframes, hopefully if it was an ACL Martinez would have said although few weeks could still mean 2 or 3 months.

@jayw Just asked the missus whose a physio what she thinks and she said it's there to support the knee but doesn't necessarily mean it's a cruciate injury.

Wouldn't he be on crutches as well if it was an acl to ensure minimal weight on the leg?

With the wife being a Kopite LL if I ask her 2 questions relating to Everton injuries she will lie and say his legs about to drop off or something. I reckon your right though regarding crutches would be required to take the weight off the leg.

Lets hope there aren't any complications - injury recovery is unfortunately a touch harder as you age

But it will give an opportunity to either Ty or one of our other youngsters that play there, unlike striker we do have some academy depth as emergency backup.

Had a massive brace on post game today defo a cruciate brace had one myself looks like one I've been given
