100k prize money for winning league cup. 2 million for fa cup. Not much these days. winning both is less than 2 league positions prize money. Before league tv money is included

Sponsorship, the time in the spotlight etc. Foreign supporters all want to follow a winner, its not the prize money but the glory and the after effects it brings.

Sponsorship and foreign fans won't follow if we prioritise domestic cups. Europe and the premier league are where we need to focus. Exposure in Europe is worth more to sponsors. But that's just my opinion
