the one thing i completely appreciate as a fan is having that player to worship when i was young. None of the whole 'he is my favourite player', but an idol, someone who played for the badge.

Fast forward 10 years that player would have been Cahill no doubt, but he is not quite the same as ferguson. Ferguson is a dying breed in the days where the andy carrolls of the game are being sold around rather than being able to play for his own fans.

Aside from the '95 Semi Final and Final that's probably the one other game that sticks in my memory as a kid, I went absolutely nuts listening to that on the radio.
