Yesterday's result means that Chelsea catch us in 3rd place in points gained over the calendar year :

Proof surely that we're good enough and consistent enough to challenge for the top 4. Our loveable neighbours though are deluding themselves if they think the same : they're way back on 46 !

Everton don't have any Lionel Messis in the team, but our list of top scorers in 2012 is healthy enough (cup goals in brackets) :

I think yesterday showed how good we are. Missing half the team but still easily could have won. Too bad we have already thrown away so many vital points this season. It will be very hard to get top 4 from here

Well found! It seems like the pieces of the jigsaw are coming together. If we can get a few more bodies in so that we're not so reliant on a small pool of players and if we can believe that we're as good as any other team in the league we shouldn't be too far away from the top of the table.
