As I have clouded vision over this one. Never actually seen him play for Everton, but he also played for the archrivals of my fave team in Holland. Anyone who can shed some lights on the performances of my fellow countryman in Royal Blue?

I remember going to the first game of Howard Kendall's second coming, at Sheff Utd. Afterwards, he picked out Atteveld for special praise - 'he looks like some player' etc. But then he'd only seen him for an hour or so, and we lost.
My favourite moment was the goal he scored against Leeds in the mickey mouse cup....We eventually lost 4-1. We lost a lot during Atteveld's time, but he was a bit of crowd favourite (bit of a pyscho tough guy), without being anything special.
