This can't possibly be the case. We've been babysat by the PL for years now and somehow, possibly, have breached the rules twice. We were run by an ACCOUNTANT and this is still happening.

I don’t know I thought the argument was that we thought we could write the stadium interest payments off right up until the ruling and if that’s true then we’ll have done it again this year. I really don’t know though I’m not an accountant it gives me a headache reading the figures tbh.

This is about English football being a credible competition where points won on the football pitch mean something. And where clubs are treated fairly regardless of their size and stature.

I assume this includes the 20/21, 21/22 and 22/23 transfer windows? If so, according to transfermarkt we're in negative net spend so it's not rosy.

As such the punishment should be much more lenient. Maybe just a fine.

The root cause of all of this is Farhad Moshiri.

Him and his enablers have destroyed this club - just as I said they would all those years ago.

I'm guessing we will get more info but the bits and pieces we see in the media all mention the stadium costs.

Interest costs on finance to build BMD just absolutely should not form part of P&S calcs. It's totally unfair to be punished for building a stadium and bringing jobs and investment to an area where it is much welcomed.

And to be punished twice for the same breach is absurd.

Why should we have any faith in the process?
