Oussama Assaidi a transfer target?

Pretty sure everyones heard about Moyes going to watch Das Bost and him apparently being a target, but someone else playing in the match was Oussama Assaidi, he's a winger that can play on the left or right and is very pacey! also very skillfull, don't know much about him but if he is possibly on his way to Goodison, here's a short video on the lad

How do the newspapers know what players Moyes is scouting without him telling them? Seems like newspapers see scouts and automatically say they're scouting the team's star when it could be another player. :/
