I'm fairing confident it's a training top - the paneling under the arms, screams training jersey. But the give away are the diamonds down the shoulders, on the actual match shirt they should stop half way down so there's a gap for the sleeve badges

I agree mate, and when you think about it, if your one of the only blokes in the world with this jersey, you would have the real deal, and the real deal would have the pl badges.

Im being Mr. Optimistic over here, and waiting for something similar to the french home kit. I think that kit is immaculate! Its looked like that kit in my head ever since seeing that tommy davies pic showing the back of the jersey

As I wrote yesterday, Jimmy Martin has said that it is not our new homeshirt in that leaked pic!
However he later texted that it looks closer to the new third kit!
But the colour will be a little different as he said it will be navy blue with purple stripes (or could he mean diamonds?)

My fellow Norwegian blue who told me and sent me a screenshot of the text seems legitimit in what he has said about knowing Jimmy well.
At his Facebook profile there are several photos taken with him and the kit man together.
Many of those inside of Goodison.

Hopefully the pic was leaked on purpose just to wind us up ahead of tonight´s unveiling.
Here´s for hoping our new homekit will be a instant hit and a classic one

I believe ole Jimmy and here's why...

Looking at this farce kit, the Umbro diamonds on the sleeves:

1. Do not cross-flow into each other. The points of the diamonds touch at the tips instead of the line from one diamond going straight into the line of the next diamond creating an XX type pattern instead this one creates a >< pattern.

2. More obvious... there is a clear blue, printed line bordering the diamonds on the sleeves and a large seam running from the edge of the collar to the edge of the sleeve

There you see the XX formed by the Umbro diamonds instead of the tip to tip ><.

Obviously there is no blue line bordering the diamonds on either side of the sleeve.

Also, there is no seam on the sleeve apart from the one that seems (no pun intended) to sew the classy looking diamond pattern to the shoulder and sleeve.

The officially leaked photo is a nice looking kit from what it shows. I don't know how to pretty up the "SportPesa" logo though. I'm just hoping they surprise us with the sponsorship image.

If you look at the back of the neck there, the stitching goes down in to a V shape, exactly like the official teaser video..

I suspect they've thrown a curve ball there and the aim was just to show the Dixie dean moto without giving away too much of anything else.

I don't believe it's that shade of light blue either. I suspect a lot of doctoring went on for that video but we'll soon find out this evening.

For what it's worth, I don't get the unanimous hate for the "leaked" shirt, looks sound to me.
