As an "American" Evertonian I have a lot of explaining to do when people ask me why I support Everton here in New York. It goes back to 2006-2007 Everton vs Bolton 1-0 victory with Arteta scoring this screamer () There was an amazing team spirit to get the goal late in the game. As the saying goes since that moment/game I was not manufactured, but "born" as a fresh Evertonian.
Seeing that game live was what got me hooked ever since..
Anyway, in retrospect being an Everton fan has been the worst decision of my life. They are consistent though on how crap they are, but I can't stop watching this train wreck.by We have to win this game today vs Burnley as I still have faith in this team of "footballers".
Any other foreign (anyone not from Liverpool or the UK) Evertonians that have unique stories of how they become an Evertonian?
