To play it we need someone with a bit of guile on the wing, not both Mirallas and McGeady.

.....I reckon it's because Barry's role is specialist. Remember Fellaini playing it for a bit and him saying it's really difficult because you have to be disciplined to stay in a restricted area and not chase the ball. Cattermole said the same at Sunderland. Saying that, we don't look safe at the back so the shielding position isn't working but maybe there are other contributing factors.

I like Besic, mate of mine isn't convinced and compares him to Scott Parker.

I think Martinez was right to sub Besic instead of Barry especially when chasing the game. Barry was having a good game and as you say he performs a role which is sort of the heart to how we play. Totally changing last night with us playing reasonably well was probably not a good idea.

Loving this guy, played very well last night. A few mistakes but they can be ironed out, a lot of heart in his play and you guys were right he looked like he was going to destroy Cresswell!

what i love about all of this is i called him a future legend after the chelsea game and his first touch for the club.

Glad to see him progress so well and start to prove to everyone, including myself that he really can be a great player for the club.
