At least the foreign commentary makes it sounds like it's exotic, you wouldn't think it was ten miles up the road
As far as the U.K. is concerned you won't find anywhere more exotic than Wigan. It is truly unlike anywhere in both the known and unknown Universe.

Having watched the game this is my assessment.

We played an absolutely dire Wigan team.

We dominated most of the game as would be expected.

Young looked good in a playmaker role with neat passes and link play. However there is no way he would get that kind of time in the premier league.

Maupay was very poor. Had a very easy chance and scuffed it at the goalkeeper. If he can't even take chances like that then you might as well have Michael Keane up front. The few seasons before we signed Maupay, he actually looked a capable striker albeit without any good physical attributes. But he's definitely gone down a level since joining us.

The game didn't really tell us much that we didn't know already given the weakness of the opponent but a good fitness work out. Still need 4 or 5 new faces in the door.

Was at the game yesterday, (travelled down from Carlisle, who happen to play Wigan in league one next month) I’m sure the Wigan forwards will cause the Cumbrians more problems than our forwards would on yesterday’s performance.
