Lad looks ill. Heart goes out to him, speaks so passionately and emotionally about his achievements at the club. He was good for us and we were good for him. Looks a troubled soul, seeing him there in that short montage reminiscing about the days when he wore our colours with pride and distinction, when he was an athlete and leading our line, to the thin gaunt man there.....I’ll never know the challenges he has experienced in his life, I will never judge, but I do remember that first year here..where he wore that number 7 shirt and delivered a level of performance on the pitchmany who have followed could learn a lot from.
