After the joyous scenes last night at Fortress Selhurst Park us bitter blues turn our attention to The Etihad where Man City need 3 points to regain top spot, a point will also be enough. The Oasis bloke will no doubt be spotted, half cut in true mad fer it style!

just for @Bungle
The Holte End go wild as Weimann scores the winner.

Man City fans have a unique way of celebrating a goal.

Let's hope they get sore backs from all that Polish dancing.

This blokes injured but never fear bitter blue's, City can just bring in another totally boss striker.

EFC DAVID PREDICTS 3-0 CITY.

Aguero's a big loss. A contender for the West Ham game though. Toure fit along with Nasri and Silva.

Three points against Villa and I cant see them doing any less than a draw against West Ham.

City only need 4 points to win the title from their 2 remaining games. Both of those games against very average sides. However you have to feel that although they only need 4 points, psychologically they need the 3 points from their 1st of the 2 games. Absolutely no question about it.

I feel a draw against Villa and they could struggle to break down West Ham on the last day and even allow the nerves to creep in.

I'm gonna closely follow Betfair during this game, as I suspect Liverpool's odds to win the league will lengthen when City score / after the game.

Obviously it all goes down to the final day anyway, but with Liverpool you can never rule them out, so in the worst case scenarion of them winning the league by City being stung by an Andy Carroll hat trick, there should be a nice amount of money to be made, especially from some soft gets on Betfair offering generous odds.

They are currently 9-1, wonder how that will change over the next few days.

It's a very odd feeling cheering on another side but .................

C'mon on yer (light) blues. [ffs]

Noel Gallagher revels in Gerrard and Suarez tears and says Liverpool don't have big players

“It was nice to see Suarez in tears at the end. I like that because he's a blatant cheat. How he's been given the Sports Writers Football of Year is a disgrace. And it's nice to see him and Steven Gerrard cry. It's an endearing image. I did tape it.”
Some might say he has a point. D'you know what I mean?

Oddly enough I think if they are going to have a wobble then it is better they draw with Villa.

That way the target will be more defined against West Ham.

I always feel a team which only needs to draw is in danger of falling between two stools.

I agree to a certain extent. TBH though, about 10 days ago I'd have taken City going into the last game needing to beat West Ham at home in a heart beat.

Never a truer word said.

City shouldn't try and manage these games from a results perspective. They have to go out and trade blow for blow with two teams who are drastically inferior.
