In the past year we've lost:

Bolasie for 12 months - cruciate
Coleman - 10 months - double leg fracture
Funes Mori - 6-9 months - knee injury
Barkley - 5 months - hamstring injury
McCarthy - out for 10+ months with double leg fracture

And had the first player to get banned for diving.

Some luck that lol.

Was going to post the same about injuries.

Oh and getting a dangerous team in our first round of the fa cup once that was all we had left to play for.

Oh and our early fixture list just 'randomly' thrown together to destroy the confidence of a new team, emerging to potentially threaten the hallowed six.

Not feeling the luck, I'm really not.

Yeah - 4 of the top 5 in our first 5 matches, with the current top 3 all being away games.

League Cup we get given an away fixture against 3rd place Chelsea in our 2nd game in the Competition. FA Cup we get handed an away fixture against 4th placed Liverpool.

WE have Martina playing at Left Back. That counteracts any level of luck that we may be afforded.

What a load of rubbish.

It amazes me on a regular basis, that there are people employed to churn out this crap.

Penalties - but only if they were wrong decisions
Woodwork - so what
Missing players - so presumably Coleman, Barkley didn't count as they weren't involved at all... and the algorithm accounts for creativity which is no more important than stopping shots.

What about a key factor in Everton's struggles - the fact that, apart from Chelsea at home, we've had less (and in a few cases the same) prep time between matches compared to opponents. If Chelsea's midweek LC tie (reserves?) prior to our Saturday game counts at all since, previously we were Monday night (Swansea) compared to their Saturday. So hidden data like this is rather important. Playing Wednesday or Thursday and then, with only one day to train and defend set pieces etc before the next game is a whole world of difference to an opponent who has had as much as 5 days to prepare.

Obviously it also ignores the Key RS stat of Lucky Bounces and missing defenders (see Pickford and co going missing from the corner for the 2nd goal).

LUCKY - we ended up with Fat Sam - - HOOF football negative football !
How unlucky can we get add Steve Walsh to the pot the pair of them struggle to pick their noses never mind the best players!

Yet another meaningless statistic created by a bunch of muppets.

That's us

Oh look, its just a list of the top 9 teams in the league, how fun.

I think the fact that all the top teams are in there, and mostly because they have high levels of "speculative efforts" and "penalties" due to actually being better than the teams they play shows you all you need to know.
