Whatever about player of the year, it is absolutely incompressible that he isnt up for young player of the year.

City are currently playing their most recent 90million pound CB at Right Back.

I don't see him at City.

United I'm afraid, at least they pay top dollar, but poor Branners deserves better.

JB is definitely better. Stones was brilliant too, but he always had a touch of being a bit lightweight for us. Branthwaite is absolutely solid.

JFS has suffered a number of injuries which probably means hes not really at the level he should be.

But at the same age, I think Branners looks more solid, JFS was a joy on the ball.

Both very good young players, will both make it rain for us.

I'd say he's definitely a better defender and athlete than Stones was, but not as good on the ball.

They'll be the starting pair in our 'what could have been XI' threads for years to come.
