This squad is paper thin. You can't rely on untested young kids as squad fillers.

Nailed it! We're simply not going to transform the squad in the numbers some people are suggesting (sorry spouting) in two windows alone.

18 is unrealistic. Maybe if we can get rid of 11/12 before the end of summer window then it is a good job.

Realistically: Gibson, Kone (out of contract), Lennon, Cleverley, Valencia (end of loan), Oviedo, Niasse, Browning (out of contract), Garbutt, McAleny (out of contract), Rodriguez, McGeady.

Mate, at least give him time to settle in to the change in lifestyle from Madrid before writing him off and saying we should get rid.

Ahhh youre still sore about the fact I'd heard of the biggest central midfield revelation in Italian football this season (whose been all over the media) after you had dismissed him and compared him to Niasse/Bakayoko (2 forwards)...

Someone who Chelsea's £21 offer was rejected....because he's unheard of...

if you've been watching them train regularly and have experience projecting future development, fair enough....

18 players would be something like five transfer windows I reckon

We ideally need those 7 now, in Jan...

Then move on alot of the dross and the rest in summer and sign more players.
