I hate benitez, but this stat is cherry picking at it's finest. Benitez's overall record was 5 wins in 19.

Benitez was a cancer on this club but his record, both points and wins per game, was better than Dyche's is now. That's a facht, as that fat Iberian bish would say.

Lopetegui did a half decent job - but resigned under financial constraints so I assume he wouldn't come.

I'll say it now that I think Potter benefitted heavily from Brightons structure - which De Zerbi is doing even more with now.

Potter changed Brightons style completely. Their squad was probably worse than ours when he took over. But it's true the club are our polar opposites in terms of how to run a club.

I don't think Potter would take the job unless the new owners had a brain cell but I'd be excited if he did.

Under walker in 93/94 season won 3 of first 5 games so much better start under walker. Benitez was a cancer in the club so his results don't count.
