Improved squad or not we need at the very least a back up striker of some repute if we aim to compete at the top end of the table. I'd argue we need another midfielder too as well as cover at right back.
The transfer window has been successful at improving the squad but if we're serious about competing for European places we need more quality and depth to the squad. A good start to the season shouldn't cover over the fact we need more. I think you'll find when we play the bigger teams we'll struggle unless we get some quality players in before the window closes.
