I'm more inclined to believe Alan ball mate. No offence like.I heard he attacked Martinez with a machete and then bazooka'd his house.

He aint messing lad.
I wondered that after he could barely speak after the Manu game. Thought maybe Howard might have got an earful!Good news, bad timing. But even if everything was hunky dory, him coming back would have been a retrograde step.
If we can all see he's finished, I'm sure the coaching staff with many years of experience can all see it too.
Maybe Martinez isn't the genial soft touch his public image might suggest. Reminiscent of Joe Royle - great in front of the cameras, but can be ruthless behind the scenes - and all top managers need this.
Very disappointing that a man of Distin's age and experience would react so badly to being told some hard truths.

Not the sort of news you want to be divulging when things aren't too rosy in the first place. I'm sure people around the club have to be very careful with identity issues etc.Yeah strange he hadn't bothered mentioning it until someone started this thread though..
Really?! That was Howard's fault. He had the chance to put it out.He went absolutely mental at the ref in the tunnel.
They showed it on motd2
