I kind of think they should have kept the designs secret until the match itself......just to maximise impact. As long as they're not deemed "obscene" then surely there would be no problem. Also given the coin raised from the gofundme page, surely new designs will appear during the season, home and away. Would be a chance for ever more powerful and inventive messages to be displayed.
I think the Premier League could well tell the club to not allow these banners to be brought in to the stadium...

Protesting is a protected human right and as long as people don't do anything daft like encroaching on the pitch, vandalism, threatening etc, there is nothing they can do to stop protests and banners. Would just make them look even worse than they already do.

If they do it will make them look worse and guilty of something themselves - what are they afraid of?
The social media aspect of this is massive as well, we can flood Facebook, Twitter, instagram etc with images and videos from outside and inside the ground at every match now, even if they try and censor what is shown on the cartels official channels and on broadcast partners.
