Think this needs a thread as we've been linked with him in a few places. Apparently Moyes watched him against Aarhus the other day as well:

EVERTON boss David Moyes is plotting a move for highly-rated Denmark international striker Andreas Cornelius

Cornelius has been tipped for a switch to the Premier League after impressing for club Copenhagen and country.

Stoke were reported to be close to a move for the 20-year-old hitman last month, while Manchester United and Arsenal are thought to have previously scouted him in action.

However, Everton could steal a march on their rivals to sign the 6ft 4in target man, who is keen on playing in England.

The Toffees lack a genuine goalscoring forward who can help push them on in their quest to break the top four, and Moyes wants to address this issue if he stays on at Goodison Park beyond the end of the current season.

Croatia's Nikica Jelavic has been left on the bench recently despite a strong start to life at Everton following a move from Rangers, and Victor Anichebe has impressed recently but may not be the long-term solution.

£5m is rumoured to be enough for Everton to bring in Cornelius, who are also plotting a move for midfielder Kevin Strootman.

Copenhagen striker Andreas Cornelius is pleased to be attracting interest, with scouts flocking to watch him in action.

The Denmark international is expected to be one the move this summer, with the Premier League his most likely destination.

Stoke are among those believed to be leading the chase for his signature, with Tony Pulis having spotted the 20-year-old's potential early.

They are by no means the only English side in the running, though, with Everton the latest side to have cast an eye over Cornelius - during Sunday's goalless draw with AGF.

The youngster is aware of the mounting speculation regarding his future, but insists no decision has been taken as yet and that he remains fully committed to Copenhagen for the time being.

Cornelius told BT: "It is nice to know that people think I'm good and that they are here to see me play.

"I don't know what it really means because I haven't heard anything so far, but they are welcome to watch.

"I will look towards the future after the season. For the moment, my focus is on Copenhagen and securing the title. If I do well, then everything is possible."
