I wish moshiri would be competent for just one time during his calamitous time running the club and supper this 777 deal and go with more reliable suitors for less money as he's never going to get what he wants from 777 as they are a bunch of grifters

Think you'll find that's whatwill finally happen.

Knights in shining armour? Perhaps not but someone will see a PL club at a bargain right and want a piece of that.

Every club dealt with the pandemic. Not every club pays Holgate 60k/week or whatever.
Joke isn't it. Donate him to them across the park for free and immediately wrest back 60k (here ya go lads, you thought Judas and Abel were flops? Wait till you see this guy!)

Don't want to excuse them - but not every club has been trying to fund a stadium these last years or had their benefactors limited by sanctions.

It certainly doesn't help that it is a badly run club - but it's not the only reason.

Not every club was solely reliant on a shadowy owner writing blank cheques to write off losses for 5+ years rather than actually being a self sustainable business that generates money either.

Sometimes he makes some great points and explains some technical things that are going on but he doesn't take contradictions very well and his voice gets louder when he knows he's losing a debate.
I find him irritating but lots of people don't share my annoyance.
Ye no when he’s starting to fume because he says “yeah” when he’s trying to make a point like a teacher trying to see if your listening

I don’t know, if 777 have missed a payment to us that they committed to, and if we have missed a LOR payment as a result, that would be a big deal no?

The stuff about contacting debt restructuring experts, well that in itself is sensible practice regardless.

That was last week's news, wasn't it?

Probably don’t even want to buy us, just strung the club along sorting them payday loans at eye watering interest rates. It’s a win for them no matter what.

The badly run club part is why we're in the debt situation we are. Stadium, players, etc. All leads to one man, the one that's still alive.

We aren't a bargain.

For somebody to complete a takeover they have to fund the rest of the stadium, clear the debt and spend a lot in the transfer market to make us competitive.

You're looking at close to £1bn aren't you? Maybe more?

We are worth nowhere near that as a club

Think we can be all of these.

Badly run, because when we had money we were spunking it all over the place with no plan.

And unlucky because when the money ran out it because of govt intervention we still had a new stadium to pay for.

This would make sense, and they saw a fella thicker than fourteen planks of wood sat on top of each other in Moshiri who would buy into their game and allow them to debt load.

I think my take on it is that we'd have ended up here with Moshiri in charge at some point - it's just come to a head quite quickly due to macro-economic stuff.
