Please close this thread, it's absurd. There is no-one in the prem I would rather have up front for us, apart from Aguero or Ibrahimovic, and we aren't getting either of them. So unless we can get James Rodriguez in for £10m LESS than we'd sell Rom for, the topic is completely moot.

Of course he wants to go, but I think either we've told him he's not going and or no one was willing to pay our asking price and therefore he's stuck here, and knowing he's going to be stuck here till atleast January I think that's why he's come out and said he wants to stay

I just cannot be bothered with him spitting his dummy out wishing he was playing CL footy and sulking for us all season.
