Couldnt watch the entire match be for the hour or so I saw of him, he looked class. He did have a few mistakes, but his passing was class, great ball control and really love his energy and aggression. He will definitely be pushing for a place in the starting XI on a weekly basis.

Baines is definitely first choice and he will play most games, as any other first choice player would. So even with the EL and hopefully a good run in both Cups, I have a hard time imagining Roberto "resting" Baines just because he got 2 other players waiting on the bench. As of right now...
